To start contributing, use the following steps:
Log into your 401k account, hover over MANAGE and click “ Contributions & Elections”
Now click “Contribution Rate/Amount”
You may be provided two options depending on your plan, "Change Deferral by Percent" and "Change deferral by Dollar".
Select to contribute either a percent of your paycheck or a specific dollar amount then click on the "Change Contribution Rate/Amount" button.
In the “Current Value” column input your new rate and then click "Submit Contribution Change" Note: you may contribute to traditional 401k or Roth 401k or both. What is the difference?
A confirmation of your changes will appear. We will notify your payroll department of your deferral rate changes made online.

If you are married: You are required by law to have your spouse as 100% Primary Beneficiary unless you get their consent. If you choose to have your spouse as less than 100% Primary Beneficiary, complete the Designation of Beneficiary form which includes obtaining your spouse’s signature in the presence of a notary.
